ASPX Private Shell
ASPX Private Shell is a web shell used to gain unauthorized access to web servers running on the ASP.NET platform. Unlike PHP shells, ASPX Private Shell runs using Microsoft’s ASPX (Active Server Pages) extension and is designed to remotely execute commands, manage files, access databases, etc. on Windows-based servers. ASPX Private Shell is used by hackers specifically targeting Windows servers and can cause serious security vulnerabilities in the system by providing unauthorized access to these servers.
How to Use ASPX Private Shell
When using ASPX Private Shell, the attacker first detects a vulnerability and uploads the shell file to the target web server. This is usually done through a file upload vulnerability or some other vulnerability. Once the shell is uploaded to the server, the URL of the shell is opened through a browser to access the system. TheASPX Private Shell can give the attacker full privileges to the server, allowing them to access the file system, upload, delete and modify files. At the same time, remote commands can be executed on the server via the command line interface.
ASPX Private Shell is specifically designed to be effective on Windows servers. The shell allows to execute commands on the server from the command line (cmd.exe), which allows full control of the server. The attacker can steal database information, manipulate files, hijack user
